Welcome to XXX online course. This course can be accessed anywhere, anytime via the internet. While this is an online course, students still spend significant time interacting and engaging with their instructor, classmates, and course material. An online class is a class that takes place totally online. 

In order to assess your readiness for success in an online course, please complete the Getting Started Module. In this module you will demonstrate your ability to use the course technology, writing skills, communication skills, time management skills, and the degree to which you can follow online directions.

So that you may be a successful learning in this collaborative environment and as part of the online "attendance" policy, you must complete this module by XXXXXXXXXXXXXX so that your instructor can assess your readiness to learn in this environment.Failure to submit all  first week assignments may cause you to be withdrawn from the class. You must complete your first week assignments by Friday X Month X day@  5PM.
