Internship Basics
EMCC's Center for Workforce and Experiential Learning (CWEL) helps students prepare for their future careers by offering real world experiences like internships. Internships are supervised work experiences in professional settings related to your major or career goal to provide hands-on experience.
Whether you are getting paid or not, internships are a great way to "work" in your chosen career, get experience, and have flexibility to work around your class schedule.
