Aspiring MCC Music Business Entrepreneurs- Get Support for Your New Enterprise with Multiple Resources

MCC Entrepreneur Center

All aspiring entrepreneurs from the Maricopa Community Colleges are invited to get support at the MCC East Valley Community Entrepreneur Center, a new resource available to student entrepreneurs and small businesses.

MCC Business instructor, Dan Piercy, is the director of the MCC Community Entrepreneur Center and Green Flag Mesa Business Center. Students and members of the local community will have the opportunity to ask questions about launching, owning and operating a small business and obtain advice, education, research assistance, mentoring or capital acquisition assistance.

The MCC East Valley Community Entrepreneur Center is a collaboration among MCC, the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, AZBDC Network, Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) and the AZ Procurement Technical Assistance Center (AZPTAC).

Student Entrepreneur Club

The Student Entrepreneur Club meets in person and virtually every Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:00pm.

The Student Entrepreneur Club is an all-inclusive club welcoming those who would like to associate with like-minded students interested in exploring all things related to starting and operating an enterprise. We invite guest speakers, hold workshops, and host events throughout the semester. Interested in participating, for more information email club president.

Mini Pitch Business Competition

The Mini Pitch Business Competition is a campus wide event where students have 7-minutes to pitch a business idea to a panel of judges representing community business owners. The winner of the Mini Pitch Competition can win $1500.00 in cash and MCC bragging rights. To register for this event, contact daniel.piercy@mesacc.edu
