This site is intended to provide all resources related to writing, submitting, and endorsing FEPs. It is an open-access 'course', perpetually accessible to all faculty and administrators. Resources will be updated each year as needed, but please reach out if you need something that is not posted! This site is a work in progress, and feedback is always appreciated.

Purpose
Residential Faculty are committed to quality teaching and instruction and are employed to provide professional services to students, colleagues and the MCCCD Residential Faculty support and implement the following self-evaluation policies and procedures. The objectives of The Faculty Evaluation Plan for Instructional Improvement (FEP) are:
- To improve teaching performance.
- To advise Residential Faculty members regularly and specifically of their strengths and weaknesses, progress, and overall status.
- To maintain continuity with advances in the respective disciplines.
- To continually seek effective and updated methodologies, the application of which provide increased comprehension of the discipline.
Timeline
Faculty Evaluation Plans (FEPs) are due every 3 years by June 30th of that academic year. Faculty may elect to submit more often, if desired.
Early Fall -- Your Dean or Chair (or their administrative assistant) will notify you that your FEP is due.
